Milton Keynes Humanists is a new group, established in October 2007 with a view to:

1)  providing a means for like-minded individuals in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas to meet and have a forum for the discussion of humanist values, principles and relevant subjects;

2)  raising awareness of humanist perspectives;

3)  campaigning for respect for those who seek to live ethical and responsible lives without religious or superstitious beliefs, and against religious privilege; and

4)  carrying out and supporting appropriate charitable activities.

And we aim to do these things in a way that is welcoming, tolerant and enjoyable.

We share the vision of the British Humanist Association of “a world without religious privilege or discrimination, where people are free to live good lives on the basis of reason, experience and shared human values”.
